Noodles Ave -- Plano, Texas

On our visit today, we tried the regular spicy ramen. Two of the specials were Ramen + a california roll (the hubby ordered this one) and Ramen + another roll (which I didn't order).

This was another place that seemed to serve the Korean spicey Ramyeon. The flavor had just enough spice and flavor to satisfy us. I would have really liked a few more extras on top. The few carrots, which tasted fresh, and green onions just weren't enough. The bright spot was that it came to our table in these 'fancy gold ramen pots', which absolutely made me beam with happiness. If you have watched the Korean version of Boys Over Flowers, you will understand.

I would describe this place as a fastfood-lite, Asian restaurant. You walk in and order at the counter, receive a number, and wait for them to bring it out. to you. There were some of your regular sushi items and many different varieties of noodles, hence the name, Noodles Ave.

All-in-all, I would go back for a quick ramen-fix, especially for under $8 for noodles and a sushi roll.
